The Translator

Michael Solot was born and lives in Tucson, Arizona. It took him longer to find his way through the Odyssey than it took Odysseus to find his way home.

The Illustrator

Aedan Kennedy lives in Binghamton, New York. The Odyssey was his first illustration commission. He is currently working with Hillsdale College to illustrate the Iliad for their popular online course on Homer. He also accepts commissioned work on an individual basis.

The Publisher

The Society of Classical Poets is America's premiere literary journal dedicated to the revival and proliferation of good, new poetry. In addition to this Odyssey publication, the Society maintains a website that accepts regular submissions and publishes an annual print journal.

Andrew Benson Brown is a poet and journalist based in Kansas City. He is the Outreach Director for the Society of Classical Poets and host of the podcast Classical Poets Live. A feature writer for The Epoch Times, his work has also appeared in a number of other publications.
